On the stretch of river between Maniwaki and Bouchette the Gatineau runs wild with big volume Ottawa-style rapids. The Gatineau is another Quebec river that is under threat of extinction through hydro development. Your participation in a rafting trip will help raise awareness for the river and demonstrate alternative uses. We offer the Gatineau as a 2 day trip complete with 4 meals (L, D, B, L) and two descents down the river. Challenge the big and powerful rapids of Lucifer’s, High Tension, Log Jam and Le Bonnet Rouge. Our beautiful riverside campsite is a great place to sit by the fire and recount stories from a fun and exciting day.
