Elite River Rescue Courses on the Ottawa River
This 2 day course, builds upon the skills taught in R3-Rec and coached in R3 Pro. R3-Elite’s instructional emphasis is placed on Critiquing, Correcting and Evaluating the actions taken in a series of SCENARIO DRIVEN evolutions. Each course includes actual river running (raft, canoe or kayak).
Realistic rescue scenarios are developed along the way allowing participants to gain real hands on experience. R3-Elite is a great way to keep your skills honed and fine tuned. A Rescue Skills Assessment allows participants to leave the class knowing what they are good at and what they should practice more. Certified by Sierra Rescue International Prerequisites: WRT-A, R3-Pro , ACA Level 4/5 or equivalent.
